The MHI Coat of Arms
The MHI coat of arms represents our belief in the inherent worth of every human being.
Its four quarters express the values by which we conduct ourselves: People, Empathy, Hope, and Accountability. The lion represents courage, the horse represents freedom and human potential, and the Earth recognizes our place within the larger story of humanity.
The compass represents direction. Its integrated cross acknowledges the faith that informs our founder's convictions. The dogwood blossoms represent our four values surrounding the human being, while the antique gold connects our contemporary work to the enduring principles of human dignity and moral responsibility.
